Function and principle

 


Connection steering, in the copper pipe system, realizes 90° direction change, making the pipe layout more flexible, adapting to installation scenarios with limited space and right-angle steering, and connecting copper pipes with other hydraulic and pneumatic components with internal threads (such as valves, pump interfaces, etc.).
Push-in connection, relying on the push-in structure, inserts the copper pipe into the joint, and the internal retaining ring and other structures fix the copper pipe to achieve rapid assembly and disassembly, without complex tools, simplifying the installation process, and the sealing structure (such as O-ring, etc.) ensures air tightness and liquid tightness after connection to prevent medium leakage.
Adapt to DOT standards and comply with DOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) related standards. It is mostly used in automotive air brake systems and other scenarios with high safety and reliability requirements to ensure stable and reliable pipe connections under conditions such as brake pressure transmission.

 

 

Application scenarios and installation

 


Application areas: widely used in copper pipe connections of automobile air brake systems to achieve brake pipe steering and component connection; also used in other industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems where copper pipes need to be turned 90° and quickly connected, such as automation equipment, gas and liquid systems of small machinery.
Installation points: clean the ends and joints of copper pipes before installation to remove burrs and impurities; insert the copper pipe straight into the push-in interface until it is in place, and gently pull to test whether it is stable; when the external thread end is connected to the corresponding internal thread part, wrap the raw tape or apply sealant as needed (some sealing structures may not be required), pay attention to the thread screw-in depth and torque to avoid damaging the thread or affecting the seal; check the sealing after installation, and ensure no leakage through pressure testing and other methods.
