The main application areas of PTCR
Self-regulating heating element
Electric heaters, seat heating, car rearview mirror heating, etc. PTCR heating elements can automatically adjust power after reaching the set temperature to avoid overheating.
It is also widely used in medical device heating, such as constant temperature infusion systems.
Current protection and fuses
PTCR thermistor can replace traditional fuses in overcurrent protection and has self self-recovery function, that is, after the short circuit or overcurrent problem disappears, the resistance will return to the normal state.
Typical applications include chargers, adapters, electronic circuits, etc.
Engine preheating and industrial equipment
PTCR material can ensure sufficient heat during cold start in the engine preheating system, improving fuel efficiency.

Overheating Protection For Turning Area
Traditional elbows are prone to local high temperatures due to eddy currents during fluid turning. Plug In Elbows use PTCR to monitor in real-time and automatically limit flow or trigger external cooling systems to avoid thermal damage.
Adaptive Sealing Enhancement
Shape memory alloy assisted sealing: At high temperatures, the memory alloy ring at the elbow interface expands to compensate for the deformation difference between brass and composite materials, preventing leakage.
Energy Recovery Compatibility
Support linkage with the waste heat recovery system, when the elbow detects that the fluid temperature exceeds the set value, it can automatically introduce excess heat into the recovery device to improve energy efficiency (such as ground source heat pump systems).
