Material Selection

Carbon Steel (12L14 / 1045): Ideal for standard high-pressure hydraulic manifolds and mobile equipment. Zinc-plated or Zinc-Nickel coated to withstand 720+ hours of salt spray testing (ASTM B117).

Stainless Steel 304: Corrosion-resistant option for industrial machinery, water treatment, and food/beverage processing equipment.

Stainless Steel 316 / 316L: Maximum pitting and chloride resistance. Specified for marine hydraulics, offshore oil & gas, and chemical processing manifolds.

Brass (C36000): Non-sparking, excellent machinability, and rust resistance. Suitable for pneumatic lines, compressed air distribution, and low-to-medium pressure lubrication systems.

Thread Standards

BSPP (G Threads): Parallel threads designed for flush sealing against a spotface using a bonded washer or elastomeric seal.

BSPT (R Threads) & NPT: Tapered threads providing a pressure-tight seal through thread engagement (recommended with thread sealant or PTFE tape).

SAE Straight Thread (ORB - O-Ring Boss): High-pressure parallel threads with an integral O-ring groove for zero-leakage performance in hydraulic systems.

Metric Threads: European standard threads available in both parallel (with O-ring/gasket) and tapered profiles.
