Flared Plug

1. Core Value: Port Termination:
Fundamental Difference: Flared Plug is not a connector, but a terminal seal. This is the most essential difference between it and the previously introduced nuts (connecting pipes and fittings) and reducers (connecting pipes of different sizes). It exists to "block" rather than "connect".
Sealing Mechanism: Its 45° outer cone directly contacts the 45° inner cone inside the port (forming a metal-to-metal seal). It does not require a fitting body or another pipe. When tightened, its outer cone is pressed against the inner cone of the port to achieve a seal. Its solid blind end provides the ultimate physical barrier.

Cone and thread coaxiality: Forging and precision machining ensure that the 45° outer cone sealing surface is precisely concentric with the thread, and the cone surface is evenly stressed when tightened, and the seal is reliable.
High strength integrity: The entire plug (thread, cone, hexagonal head, blind end) is forged from a single piece of brass, with strong structural rigidity and can withstand system pressure without deformation.
3. Simplify system design and maintenance (System Simplification & Maintenance):
Alternative complex solutions: Compared with using an SAE nut + a solid adapter to close the port, the Flared Plug can achieve the same sealing function with half the number of parts, faster installation, lower cost, and fewer potential leaks.
Testing and maintenance: When testing, flushing or repairing the hydraulic system, the Flared Plug is an ideal choice for temporary or permanent closure of unused ports, and the operation is extremely simple.
Space advantage: The single-piece design makes it easier to install on ports with limited space (such as dense valve blocks) and takes up less space (compared to the nut + connector combination).
