Application in Building Water Supply and Drainage System

1. Distribution of domestic cold/hot water:

Main pipeline diversion: From the vertical main pipeline to the Male Branch Tee, a horizontal branch pipeline is connected to various household water points on each floor.

Sealing requirements: Thread wrapped PTFE tape (more than 10 turns)+anaerobic sealant (such as Loctite 545).

The work pressure needs to match the height of the building (usually 0.4MPa below 10 floors).

2. Solar hot water system

Collector circuit connection: Use Male Branch Tee to connect the copper collector tube to the circulation pump.

High temperature adaptation: Choose Sch 80 wall thickness, temperature resistance ≥ 150 ℃.

3. Drainage and ventilation system

Ventilation riser branch: In the metal conversion section of the PVC drainage riser (DN110), an external ventilation branch pipe is connected through Male Branch Tee to prevent siphon effect.

Key points for leakage prevention: Rubber sealing rings (made of EPDM material) should be installed on threaded interfaces.

Key applications of fire pipeline system:

1. Branch of sprinkler system. Main pipeline diversion: The DN100 galvanized steel pipe main pipe is connected to a DN50 branch pipe through Male Branch Tee to the sprinkler head.

Seismic design: Install seismic brackets at a distance of ≤ 300mm from the nozzle at the branch end (according to NFPA 13 standard).

2. Fire hydrant system

Riser connection: On the DN65 fire riser, use Male Branch Tee to connect the fire hydrant box short pipe externally.

Pressure test: After installation, a pressure holding test at 1.5 times the working pressure (usually 1.2MPa) is required.

Application in special architectural scenarios:

1. Siphon rainwater system

Vertical pipe diversion: The HDPE pipe conversion section uses Male Branch Tee to connect the overflow pipe.

2. Connection of underfloor heating water collector

PERT pipe branch: Temperature control is achieved through the Male Branch Tee (with brass to PPR connector) for separate chambers.
