Q: Can these swivel fittings be adjusted under full system pressure?

A: No.The swivel joint is designed for alignment during installation and natural movement during vehicle operation.
It should not be manually adjusted while the air line is under high pressure.
Always exhaust system air pressure before positioning.

Q: Do the threads require Teflon tape during installation?

A: Our NPTF threads are available with or without pre-applied dry thread sealant.
If using non-coated options, a liquid thread sealant or PTFE tape rated for air systems is recommended.

Q: How do I release the tube if maintenance is required?

A: Simply push the brass collet inward toward the fitting body to release the internal lock ring, then pull the SAE J844 nylon tube straight out.
No special release tools are required.

Q: Are these fittings certified for use in Europe or North America?

A: Our fittings are designed to meet DOT FMVSS 106 and SAE J2494 requirements, which are the standard requirements for North American commercial vehicle air brake systems.
