The core difference from other accessories
External thread output end (vs. Female Connector's internal thread port): This is the most fundamental difference. The Male Connector actively outputs the external threaded connection end, which is the part inserted into the internal thread port (such as the Female Connector or a device interface). Female Connector provides the internal thread port and is the party being inserted.
Active connection bridge (vs. Union/Bulkhead system node): The core function of the Male Connector is to direct the fluid path out and connect it to the system inlet. It is not a complex node inside the system (such as a union with a live joint or a bulkhead through a plate), but rather a standard output interface.
Connection object (vs. Tube Union): Tube Union connects two sections of pipe and is easy to disconnect. The Male Connector connects the pipe (or device output end) to the internal thread inlet of the system. Once the connection is completed, it usually needs to rotate itself or the internal thread port to disconnect (it does not have the convenience of the union's live joint).
Typical application scenarios
Output end of instrument and sensor signal tube: Convert the signal output tube of the pressure gauge, transmitter, and sensor (connected by ferrule) to a standard external thread, which is convenient for screwing into the female interface on the acquisition panel or pipeline.
Valve outlet: Connect to the outlet of the valve (such as a ball valve or needle valve), convert the output of the valve to a standard external thread, and connect to the downstream pipeline or equipment.
Device output port adapter: Installed on the pipe of the compressor, pump, and filter outlet, provides a standard external thread interface, and connects the hose or hard pipe.
Pneumatic/hydraulic actuator interface: Connect the inlet and outlet air pipes/oil pipes of the cylinder and oil cylinder, provide a standard external thread end, and conveniently connect to the quick-change joint or pipeline system.
Test point connection: Install the Male Connector (welding or ferrule connection pipe) on the pipeline test point to facilitate the quick connection of the pressure gauge or test instrument (through its external thread end).
Extension or conversion: Use a male connector with external threads on both ends (one end is connected to the tube, and the other end is the functional end) for extension, or convert by converting the thread type.
Panel outlet conversion: Connect the tube to the male connector (welding or ferrule end) installed on the back of the panel, and the external thread of its functional end passes through the panel hole, fixed with a nut on the front of the panel to form a standard external thread output port.
