Weight reduction and structural optimization

The density of PTC/PTCR composite material is only 1/4-1/5 of brass (brass density is about 8.4 g/cm³, PTC density is about 1.5-2 g/cm³), which can significantly reduce the overall weight of the pipeline system.

Composite materials are used in non-pressure or low-stress areas, while brass is retained in high-load areas (such as threaded interfaces) to achieve a balance between structural lightweighting and strength.

Application: Brass is used for high-temperature and high-pressure interfaces near the engine, while composite materials are used for long-distance pipelines to reduce vehicle weight.

Reduce aircraft weight and improve fuel efficiency in aerospace hydraulic pipelines.

Corrosion resistance and extended lifespan:

In corrosive media such as seawater and acid mist, the composite material body avoids the zinc removal corrosion of brass, while brass connectors maintain sealing in non-corrosive areas.

Prevent galvanic corrosion between brass and composite materials in electrolytes through insulation coatings or non-conductive gaskets.

Cost control and resource utilization

Reduce the amount of brass used (high priced metal) and lower the total cost through composite materials.

Composite materials can quickly produce complex shapes through injection molding, while brass is only used for interfaces that require precision machining.

Diversified functions and complementary performance

Brass rapid heat dissipation (such as radiator interface), composite material pipeline insulation (reducing energy loss).

Brass provides a grounding path, and conductive PTCR material dissipates static electricity (in flammable and explosive environments).
