SAE Union Tee

Unique function, Union Tee is the only part in the SAE 45° series designed to provide independent branch lossless disconnection capability at the three-way flow division/confluence point. This is the most essential and irreplaceable difference between it and the standard Union (only straight two-point removable), Reducer Union (only straight two-point removable and reduced diameter), and fixed Tee (all connections are permanent/semi-permanent, and branches cannot be disconnected losslessly).
Solve the core pain point; the three-way node is often the location for connecting key branch equipment (such as instruments, filters, pressure relief valves, and backup branches). Once the traditional fixed tee is installed, the main line or the entire tee must be emptied and disassembled to maintain the branch equipment. Union Tee has completely changed this.

Structural characteristics, the main body is a three-dimensional forged T-shaped structure, and the axis lines of the three ports usually meet the following requirements: the two branch ends are collinear and perpendicular to the main pipe end. This structure can evenly withstand multi-directional loads.
Equal diameter advantage, the three ports are of the same size, and the internal flow channel design ensures that the inner diameter is maintained constant when passing through or dividing, without necking, and the pressure drop is extremely small, which is better than the reducing tee or combination solution.
Compared with the fixed Tee, the fixed Tee has similar functions, but it does not have the ability to disconnect branches without loss.
