Hose Barb Elbow 90°

 Hose Barb Elbow 90° is a 90-degree elbow pipe made of brass. Its most notable feature is that both ends are hose barbs (Hose Barb) structure, no thread design. This design makes it especially used for right-angle connection between two hoses, without relying on threaded accessories. It is suitable for "pure hose connection" in the pipeline system and the need to change direction, especially in the environment with compact space and no need to directly connect with hard pipes or equipment interfaces.

Barb shape, with 2-4 circles of annular barbs on the surface (the number increases with the diameter), the barb is "wedge-shaped" - wide at the root, narrow at the top, and grooves are formed between adjacent barbs. When the hose is inserted, the barb will be embedded in the inner wall of the hose, and the groove will provide space for the hose to deform, forming a "mechanical lock" to prevent the hose from falling off under pressure or vibration.
Transition design, the front end of the barb has a tapered guide section (taper of about 15°-30°) to facilitate the insertion of the hose; the rear end of the barb has an annular boss (step) to limit the excessive insertion of the hose and enhance the sealing contact area with the hose.
Size matching: The outer diameter of the barb is strictly matched with the inner diameter of the adapter hose to ensure that the hose fits tightly after insertion and reduce the risk of leakage.
