1. Hose preparation and connection:
Put the hose of appropriate size firmly on the Hose barb.
For critical applications such as automotive braking systems and air conditioning high-pressure ends, special clamps/ferrules must be used to install and tighten the hose according to specifications.
2. Device end connection (key steps):
Confirm that the 45° SAE Flare male connector is installed on the device port.
Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the 45° sealing cone of the male connector and the 45° sealing cone inside the connector (no grease, no dirt, no damage).
Align and screw in: Align the connector (Female 45° Flare end) with the male connector of the device port and screw it in manually.
Tighten: Use two suitable wrenches (one to fix the male connector and one to tighten the connector) to tighten according to the precise torque value recommended by the manufacturer or SAE standard for the connector of this size. This is the lifeline for a reliable seal! Avoid over-tightening to cause deformation of the cone or cracking of the connector.
Rotation adjustment: After fixing the Female end, freely rotate the Hose Barb end and the hose to the desired direction (avoid pulling).

Automobile braking system: The end of the brake hose connects to the master brake cylinder, slave cylinder, ABS module, proportional valve, etc. This is the core and most demanding application. The Swivel function is crucial here.
Automobile air conditioning system: Refrigerant pipeline hose connectors connecting compressors, condensers, evaporators, liquid storage dryers, etc. (especially common on the low-pressure end).
