Application fields and typical scenarios
1. Industrial hydraulic system
Connect hydraulic hoses and hard pipes, such as machine tool hydraulic stations and injection molding machine hydraulic circuits, supporting 200-300 PSI pressure.
Used in scenarios where hoses need to be replaced frequently (such as cylinder connections for construction machinery).
2. Automobile and aviation fields
Automobile brake system, connecting brake hoses and metal brake lines (SAE J1453 standard flaring).
Aircraft fuel system, connection of low-pressure fuel pipes (must comply with aviation material standards, such as cadmium-plated brass).
3. Refrigeration and air conditioning system
Connect refrigerant hoses and copper pipes, 45° flaring seal to prevent refrigerant leakage (with NBR or fluororubber O-rings).
Pipeline transfer between outdoor and indoor units of household air conditioners.
4. Laboratory and instrument equipment
Sealed connection of gas pipelines (such as nitrogen and oxygen) to facilitate instrument disassembly and maintenance.
Pipeline construction of small hydraulic experimental devices.
Installation and maintenance
1. Installation steps (taking the hydraulic system as an example)
Hose end installation:
The hose cut is flat, apply lubricant (such as silicone oil) and push it into the root of the pagoda head, and fix it with a hose clamp.
Flare end installation:
Hard tube flaring production, use the flaring tool to process the end of the hard tube into a 45° cone (error ≤0.5°), and remove burrs;
Assemble, put the flare nut on the hard tube, align it with the flare cone of the adapter, and pre-tighten the nut by hand;
Tighten, tighten with a wrench according to the specified torque (such as 1/4" flare nut torque is about 8-12 N・m) until the cone is completely fitted (avoid over-tightening to cause brass cracking).
2. Maintenance points
Regular inspection:
Is the hose aging, bulging, and is the hose clamp loose?
Is there any leakage at the flared connection (fluorescent leak detector can be used for detection).
Disassembly note:
Avoid rotating the Adapter when removing the flare nut Main body, to prevent the hose end from falling off.
If there are slight scratches on the flared surface, it can be polished with fine sandpaper. Severe damage requires replacement with a new part.
Environmental protection:
When used in coastal or humid environments, choose nickel-plated brass models and apply rust inhibitor every year.
After contact with corrosive fluids, rinse with clean water and dry.
