Installation sequence
1. Prepare the panel. Drill a hole in the panel/bulkhead that meets the outer diameter of the connector body (refer to the specific connector specifications. The hole is usually slightly larger than the root diameter of the thread and smaller than the flange diameter). Make sure the hole edges are smooth and free of burrs.
2. Insert the connector. Insert the connector body into the opening from one side of the panel (usually called the "inside" or "fluid side") until the flange or shoulder is close to the panel.
3. Install the inside nut. On the inside of the panel, screw the first hexagonal nut onto the threads of the connector body. Tighten it by hand initially to roughly fix the connector.
4. Install the outside nut. On the outside of the panel, screw the second hexagonal nut onto the threads of the connector body.
5. Final tightening. Use two wrenches for simultaneous tightening: one wrench holds the nut on the inside of the panel. The other wrench tightens the nut on the outside of the panel.
Key: The goal is to tighten the two nuts against each other, thereby firmly and evenly "clamping" the panel between the flange and the nut. This ensures mechanical fixation and panel sealing. Avoid tightening the nut on only one side, which may cause the joint to be skewed or seal poorly! Refer to the torque value recommended by the manufacturer.
6. Connect the nylon tube:
On the inside of the panel, push the processed nylon tube (cut flat and deburred) straight into the quick-insert socket of the connector until it locks (hear/feel a "click", pull back to confirm).
On the outside of the panel, push the other nylon tube into the quick-insert socket at the other end.
