Installation and maintenance
During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the connection parts of the pipes are clean and free of impurities, and to use appropriate tools and methods for tightening or welding to avoid leakage. At the same time, pay attention to the installation direction of the reducing tee to ensure that the fluid can flow according to the design requirements.
Regularly check the connection parts of the reducing tee for leakage, corrosion, etc. If found, they should be handled in time. For brass reducing tees that have been used for a long time, cleaning, anti-corrosion and other maintenance measures can be carried out according to actual conditions to extend their service life.
Typical application scenarios
Medium- and high-pressure hydraulic systems: occasions requiring reliable metal seals and no sealant contamination, such as branch pipes of construction machinery, machine tools, and injection molding machines.
Engine cooling system: connecting coolant pipes of different sizes (such as engine body to radiator, heater core, turbocharger cooling pipe), using brass's resistance to ethylene glycol corrosion and reliable sealing of SAE 45°.
Lubrication system: distributing lubricating oil to bearings or components of different sizes.
Compressed air system: clean air branch pipes where sealant needs to be avoided from falling off and contaminating pneumatic components.
Fuel delivery system (specific grade brass): used to connect oil pipes in fuel pipes where brass is allowed.
Industrial equipment pipelines: various liquid or gas pipeline systems that need to connect three different pipe diameters, require reliable sealing and no sealants.
Refrigeration and air conditioning systems: certain refrigerant pipeline connections (material compatibility needs to be confirmed).
