1. Mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
In the hydraulic pipelines of machine tools, injection molding machines, engineering machinery and other equipment, it is often used to connect rubber or plastic hoses with metal pipes/valves to achieve 90° fluid steering. For example, in the transmission pipelines of hydraulic oil and coolant, when the spatial layout requires vertical steering, the connector can be connected to the threaded interface of the equipment (such as valves and pump bodies) through external threads, and the barbed end cooperates with the hose to ensure the stable transmission of high-pressure fluids (usually not exceeding the pressure resistance limit of brass material, generally 10-30MPa).
In pneumatic systems, this type of connector is also commonly used for the steering connection of compressed air pipelines, which is suitable for hoses such as PU tubes and nylon tubes.
2. Chemical fluid transmission
For chemical media with low corrosiveness (such as dilute acids, alkaline solutions, solvents, etc.), the corrosion resistance of brass can meet the needs. In the feed and discharge pipelines of small chemical equipment, it is used to connect the hose to the threaded interface of the reactor and storage tank to achieve 90° steering, such as the reagent transmission pipeline of a small laboratory reaction device.

1. Civil and industrial water supply and drainage
In the water supply and drainage pipelines of homes or commercial buildings, it is often used for the water inlet/outlet pipes of water heaters, washing machines, dishwashers and other equipment. For example, when the cold water inlet pipe of the water heater needs to be turned vertically from the horizontal pipeline to the equipment interface, the external thread of the joint can be directly connected to the internal thread interface of the equipment, and the barbed end cooperates with the rubber hose (such as bellows) to achieve a sealed connection.
In the branch pipe turning point of industrial cooling towers and circulating water systems, it is also often used to connect the hose and the metal main pipe to transmit cooling water.
2. Heating system
In the branch pipes of radiators and floor heating, it is used to connect the hot water delivery hose and the turning point of the metal pipe. It is suitable for PEX pipes, cross-linked pipes, etc. to ensure that there is no leakage when the hot water turns at 90°.
