HOSE X MIP Truck Valve

BARB TO MALE PIPE is a common connection in the brass truck valve fittings series, which is mainly used for piping connections in trucks, construction machinery or other fluid systems. Its design combines two types of interface forms of Barb and Male Pipe, which is suitable for the transition connection between hose and threaded pipe, featuring high strength, corrosion resistance and good sealing.

1. Barb End
Inverted hook design is used to insert hoses (such as rubber tubes, nylon tubes, etc.), and fix the hoses with inverted teeth to prevent them from falling off. Usually requires the use of hose clamps to reinforce the seal.
The size of the hook (such as inner diameter) should match the specifications of the hose, and common sizes include 1/4 ", 3/8", 1/2 ", etc.
 

2. Male Pipe Thread (MPT)
The external thread end is a standard pipe thread (such as NPT, BSP), which can be directly screwed into valves, pipelines or equipment interfaces with internal threads.
The type of thread should be selected according to the application scenario, such as American standard NPT (National Pipe Thread) or British standard BSP (British Standard Pipe).
 

3. Materials and Craftsmanship
The material is brass, which has excellent corrosion resistance (especially suitable for water, oil, and air media) and mechanical strength.
The surface may undergo nickel plating or other rust prevention treatments to enhance durability.
