The application scenarios of Hose Barb Tee are concentrated in fluid delivery systems that require flexible connections, medium and low pressure (≤10-16bar), and medium sealing requirements, typically including:
1. Industrial fluid delivery:
Machine tool cooling system: branch the coolant main line to multiple cutting points;
Hydraulic auxiliary system: branch the control oil line in the low-pressure hydraulic pipeline;
Compressed air pipeline: branch the main air line to different pneumatic tools.
2. Civil and commercial equipment:
Water heating system: water heater pipeline branches to showers and wash basins;
Gardening irrigation: main water pipe branches to multiple sprinklers;
3. Automobiles and ships:
Automobile cooling system: coolant pipeline branches to engines and radiators;
Ship fuel system: fuel pipeline branches to different engines or equipment.

Hose selection: The outer diameter of the barb interface must match (such as a 1/4-inch barb corresponding to a hose with an inner diameter of 1/4 inches), and the hose material must be compatible with the conveying medium (such as oil-resistant rubber hose for oil circuits, and food-grade silicone hose for food scenarios).
Installation steps:
Clean the interface and the inner wall of the hose to remove oil and impurities;
If the hose is hard, heat it to soften it first (to avoid high temperature damage to the hose), and then put the hose into the barb to the bottom;
Install a stainless steel hose clamp at the connection between the barb and the hose and tighten it to enhance the sealing (must be installed in high pressure or vibration scenarios).
Pressure and temperature limits:
The operating temperature range depends on the brass and hose material, generally - 20℃ to 120℃ (the temperature resistance of the hose needs to be confirmed in high temperature scenarios).
Maintenance and replacement: Regularly check whether the barb is worn and whether the hose is aging and cracking. If leakage occurs, replace the hose or connector in time.
