Union Elbow

The core function of Union Elbow is "steering + union": the 90° turning of the pipeline is achieved through the elbow body, and the union structure allows the pipelines or components at both ends of the joint to be disassembled separately without destroying the entire pipeline. Compared with ordinary elbows (non-detachable), its advantage is that when the pipeline needs to be repaired, the valve is replaced or the blockage is cleared, the union can be directly unscrewed to separate the two ends to avoid cutting the pipeline; compared with a simple union (straight connection), it adds an angle steering function, which is suitable for scenarios where the pipeline needs to bypass obstacles or change direction.

Union Elbow realizes the diversion and detachable functions through the combined mechanism of "compression seal + union thread connection":
Angle diversion, the L-shaped flow channel of the elbow body allows the medium to flow in from one end and then turn to the other end at an angle of 90° (or 45°) to flow out, changing the direction of the pipeline.
Fixed compression end, insert a straight pipe into the compression connection end of the elbow, put on the compression ring and lock nut, when tightening the nut, the compression ring is squeezed and deformed, tightly wraps the straight pipe and fits with the inner wall of the compression chamber, forming the first seal (leakage prevention + fixed straight pipe).
Union end connection, the union end of the elbow is connected to the joint of another pipe (such as Male Adapter with external threads) through internal or external threads. After the union nut is tightened, the second seal is formed by the engagement of the threads and the extrusion of the gasket (if any), while allowing the two ends to be separated by loosening the nut later, realizing the detachable function.
